Speech is worthless!

Dear Jim,
You must be as outraged as I am!

We all know how disgustingly bad the Left Wing media has become. What passes for the "main stream media" has become today's PRAVDA, the old Soviet rag that pretended to be a newspaper. But that would be unfair to PRAVDA, which today is more objective in its reporting than much of America's media. They have become nothing more than mouthpieces of the Left and the consequences for our future liberty are dire. 

Consider what has happened in the past week.

Two jihadists storm an event in Garland, Texas, threatening to blow up and murder and maim untold numbers of peaceful American citizens. The reason? The prophet of Islam was being insulted by the hosting of a cartoon contest... a Cartoon contest. Thanks to the bravery of one security guard, the two jihadists were taken down and no one inside was hurt.

So what does the media do? Why, blame the hosts of the conference for inciting hate speech, for being Islamophobes, of course. After all, they should have "known better." Known better, meaning what? Exercise their rights of free speech? Yet, in the past few days, instance after instance, the media attacks those exercising free speech, and NOT the two jihadists whose entire goal was the mass murder of American citizens. 

And the New York Times wonders what the motivation of two self proclaimed Islamic Jihadists was in wanting to murder those attending a conference where they felt the prophet of Islam was being insulted. Are we living in an alternative universe? This from the paper of "record." Have we lost all standards of journalistic integrity?

And onto Baltimore, where the reasons for the riots has everything to do with racist police officers, the Republicans in Congress, societal "indifference", white privilege and on and on. But does the blame fall on those individuals who are looting, stealing and burning their city down? Of course not.

The media parades the likes of Al Sharpton and White House hacks who blather on about how inherently racist America is. That we need some "soul searching". What is coming next, calls for "reeducation"?

When a free society loses its free press, when the media becomes nothing more than a mouthpiece for the ruling party and closes off debate from the other side, we are no better than the fascists and communists before us.

Is that our future?

That is why our team of writers at Truth Revolt is fighting back, and not in a gentlemanly way. I didn't become a conservative so I could forget how to fight. I have devoted my life to teaching conservatives the nature of the left and how to defeat the Left.
