Dear European “leaders”, although Hungary has been the only country that has consistanly stood for peace in the EU, we didn’t intend to discuss this publicly. But that works just as well.
Hungary's position is that
direct negotiations with Russia must begin immediately in order to achieve a
ceasefire and lasting peace.
We also expect the leaders of
the European Union to act as responsible politicians—considering both human
lives and economic damage—and to take steps towards an immediate ceasefire and
peace.
